Finlay Jude Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Heywood area, for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative for their team. You will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations
including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods
The ideal candidate will be organised, motivated, and be able to work well in a team and independently.
**Working hours 30-37 hours per week depending on workload. This includes working every weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8am – 4pm. Additionally, you would then work 2-3 days in the week Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm. You must be able to commit to these shifts**
Warehouse Operative role:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required
- Work from computer-based systems for stock and pick list management
- Identify any errors or anomalies – requires excellent attention to detail
Warehouse Operative requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally working from handheld scanners
- Attention to detail and being able to work quickly and efficiently
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Computer literate
- Strong work ethic
